Hayley Taylor : Principal

Hayley started dancing locally at the age of 8. She went on to take numerous examinations in ballet and modern and took part in annual shows and pantomimes, as well as competing in local dance festivals, leading to the All England Finals in London. As her love of dance grew, she began supplementing her classes by attending London Junior Ballet and participated in various courses with the Royal Ballet and English National Ballet School, working with highly acclaimed teaching faculty.

At 16 she successfully auditioned for full-time vocational training at London Studio Centre and was lucky enough to be awarded a scholarship for 3 years graduating with a diploma in higher education. During this time Hayley was chosen to perform with the classical ballet touring company and gained substantial performing experience, dancing all over the UK, including Sadler’s Wells and the Peacock Theatre. Alongside this, one of her biggest achievements was gaining her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 2 exam with Distinction at the age of 17.

After performing, Hayley wanted to share her love of dance, and in 2004 was accepted on to the RAD 2 year Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies course. Upon completion she was awarded Registered Teaching Status enabling her to teach their prestigious syllabi and enter children for examinations. Hayley has now been teaching since 2006 and has entered many children for their RAD exams with a 100% pass rate. She freelanced at vocational schools in and around London including London Studio Centre and Central School of Ballet. She went on to become co-founder of Images School of Dance in September 2013 and now devotes all of her teaching time to the school.


Sarah Hewitt : Principal

BALLET TEACHER

Sarah began dancing at the age of 3 at a local dance school. She quickly fell in love with dancing and went on to take many exams in Ballet, Modern and Tap, as well as competing in All England Dance Festivals, successfully reaching the All England Finals various times and performing at the Peacock Theatre in London. She went on to take Saturday classes at London Junior Ballet and The Royal Ballet Senior Associates, as well as summer and Easter courses with English National Ballet School and The Royal Ballet School.

At the age of 16, Sarah went on to train full time at The Arts Educational School, Tring Park and was lucky enough to be chosen for a full scholarship for her place here. She successfully completed her Modern and Cecchetti ISTD Teaching associates, gained a vast amount of performance and teaching experence and graduated with a diploma. She was then accepted with a full scholarship to London Studio Centre.

After deciding that her heart lay in teaching others to dance, Sarah went on to complete a 2 year Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance. Since graduating as a fully qualified RAD teacher in 2006, she has worked freelance at various dance schools in and around London, entering hundreds of students for RAD ballet exams with 100% pass rate.

She went on to become co-founder of Images School of Dance in September 2013 and now devotes all of her teaching time to the school.

Sophie Hudson :

musical theatre & Contemporary teacher

festival choreographer

Sophie began performing at the age of four before going on to train at a local dance school for seven years. At Bishopshalt School Sixth Form she achieved an A* in Dance, a B in both Theatre Studies and Performance Studies and performed in the B.O.D.S productions We Will Rock You and Grease. She has performed in the Summer Youth Project at the Beck Theatre for multiple shows as well as Anniewith Songtime Theatre Arts and in Encore Theatre’s production of Seussical, playing a Bird Girl. She has appeared in BBC’S Big Schooland Bwark’s Drifters for E4. 

Sophie then received a place at London Studio Centre and graduated in 2018 with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance (specialising in Music Theatre). During her time at London Studio Centre, Sophie performed in many productions, most notably Dance Overture 2016 and Dance Overture 2017 at the New Wimbledon Theatre and Spring Collection, Shakers and Little Shop of Horrors at Arts Depot, Finchley. In her final year she played Margot in Legally Blonde at the Pleasance Theatre. 

Most recently she has been touring the UK with Hollywood Glamour, playing Doris Day. Over the past couple of years Sophie has freelanced as a teacher and choreographer working with various dance schools in the area.

ISADORA SPRATLING :

BA(Hons) LRAD

BALLET TEACHER

Isadora started dancing at the age of 3 at her local dance school, enjoying ballet, tap and modern in ISTD. Later she discovered her love for contemporary dance whilst going to classes with Hayley Taylor at Images School of Dance. 

At the age of 18, Isadora was successfully accepted on the BABE Programme - BA (Hons) Ballet Education at the Royal Academy of Dance where she studied for three years and graduated this year in 2021 and has recently taken her Advanced 1 ballet exam. 

Alongside the degree, Isadora has completed her LRAD level 4,5 and 6, qualifying her to teach the RAD syllabus, allowing her to enter students into exams. 

Isadora’s love for dance has always been evident since the first time she started ballet and stood on the stage at the Beck Theatre. However, she discovered her love for teaching when she set up a dance club for younger students at her school which in turn lead her to explore teaching as a career. She has enjoyed every moment of teaching whilst being at the RAD and now graduated she is excited to start teaching for different schools including Images School of Dance.


tommy keeling:

acro & street dance teacher


Tommy has trained in musical theatre since the age of 11 at Italia Conti and graduated with a diploma in 2020. He has a passion in creative arts and has been teaching and choreographing at some of the most popular dance schools up and down the country. Credits include: RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Singing In The Rain (Palace Theatre) and the original cast of ‘Noiseboys’ (Norwegian Cruise Lines).
